BLOG: If Cindy changed the password, would that be wrong? Why/Why not?
The issue is that Cindy and her friends have little time to study for their literature test in the afternoon. They decide that they could study in their history class by changing that teacher's password so she couldn't give her presentation. That way Cindy and her friends would have time to study.
It would be wrong if Cindy changed the teacher's password. Its just not a nice thing to do. The teacher would be confused and that could give her stress. If she got caught she could possibly be in a lot of trouble. It only benefits her because now she won't fail the test.
